On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the City of Virginia Beach will close Virginia Beach Boulevard at Cypress Avenue for a long-term construction project. The Routes 20, 33, and 960 will operate on a detour until further notice. Customers needing board/disembark for the Routes 20 and 960 must go the 19th & Parks lineup (adjacent to the Virginia Beach Convention Center). Customers may also see delays due to traffic.

On Sunday, February 1, all Hampton Roads Transit services will be suspended.
On Monday, February 2, Hampton Roads Transit will implement its Snow Route Plan 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM. The Newport News, Hampton, and Norfolk Transit Center information booths will be available 9:00 AM until 5:30 PM. The Silverleaf Transit Center will be closed. ID Processing and Lost and Found will be unavailable. The Call Center will be available 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
