Virginia Beach Boulevard and Cypress Construction Started Thu Dec 18 12:37PM Until Mon Jun 1 12:35PM
On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the City of Virginia Beach will close Virginia Beach Boulevard at Cypress Avenue for a long-term construction project. The Routes 20, 33, and 960 will operate on a detour until further notice. Customers needing board/disembark for the Routes 20 and 960 must go the 19th & Parks lineup (adjacent to the Virginia Beach Convention Center). Customers may also see delays due to traffic.

The Newport News, Hampton, and Norfolk Transit Center information booths will be available 9:00 AM until 5:30 PM. The Silverleaf Transit Center will be closed. ID Processing and Lost and Found will be unavailable. The Call Center will be available 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
