Due to Road Work(El Cajon Pipeline Project), Route 864 Eastbound and Westbound will be on a detour and have multiple bus stop closures starting Monday, May 04, 2026 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 8am to 3:30pm. The direction and affected bus stops are listed below.

Due to the construction, the east and westbound route 4 bus stops located at Imperial Av & 24th St (#10882 & #10127) will be closed for three months, 04/15/25 - 07/03/26, 24 hours / day.

Passengers are advised to catch the route 4 at Imperial Av & 25th in both directions.

Due to bus pad installation the southbound route 41 & 105 bus stop on Genesee Ave at Decoro St (#11572) will be closed on Wednesday 5/13 to Tuesday 5/19 24 hrs/ day. Passengers are advised to board one block north at Genesee Ave at Nobel Dr (#11924).
Route 4 Temporary Bus Stop Closure, Imperial Av & 45th St (#10232) Started Tue Feb 24 Until Fri Jul 31
Due to bikeway project, the eastbound route 4 bus stop located at Imperial Av & 45th St (#10232), will be temporarily closed 02/24/26 - 07/31/26 (24/7).

Passengers are advised to catch the eastbound route 4 on the east side of 45th at the A - Frame.

Due to Crane operations, the eastbound route 4 bus stop located at Imperial Av & Hensley St (#10147), will be temporarily closed 05/18/26 between the hours of 10:30 am - 2:30 pm.

Due to Crane operations, the eastbound route 4 bus stop located at Imperial Av & 32nd St (#10178), will be temporarily closed 05/18/26 between the hours of 10:30 am - 2:30 pm.
Passengers are advised to catch the eastbound route 4 on the eastside of 32nd at the a - frame.

The event will have large crowds and is expected to create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the westbound Route 4 is subject to detouring off Imperial Ave at 20th up to 2 hours before each game and up to 1 hour after each game.

If detour is needed, Westbound Route 4 service stop (#11258) on Imperial @ 16th will be closed.

If detour is needed after the event, Eastbound Route 4 service stop (#10115) will be closed.

All buses will continue to service the 12th and Imperial Transit Station
