Due to construction at East County Square Walmart, stop 41158 will be temporarily closed 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning June 1, 2026 through October 1, 2026. An A-Frame has been placed in front of the Dollar Tree at East County Square where passengers can board Route 838.

Due to the Imperial bikeway project, both route 4 stops located at Imperial Av & 25th St will be temporarily closed 06/01/26 - 07/31/26 (24/7)

Rt 4 Detour Encanto Block Party and Music Festival Sun 7/12 12am-10pm Starts Sun Jul 12 Until Sun Jul 12
Due to the Encanto Block Party and Music Festival on Sunday 7/12 from 12:00am-10:00pm Imperial Ave will be closed between Woodman St and 68th St. As a result; the route 4 will be on detour in both directions and the eastbound route 4 stops on Imperial Ave at 65th St (#10686), Imperial Ave at Woodman St (#10286), Imperial Ave at 68th St (#10291), Imperial Ave at 69th St (#10292) and the westbound route 4 stops on Imperial Ave at 69th St (#11054), Imperial Ave at 66th (#11429) and Imperial Ave at 65th (#11047) will be closed during event hours.

Passengers can board the route 4 in the eastbound direction at Imperial Ave at 63rd St (#10276), Lisbon St at 71st St (#10698) or at the temporary stop marked by an a-frame on at Akins Ave at 66th and the route 4 in the westbound direction at Lisbon St at Imperial Ave (#11056), Imperial Ave at 63rd St (#11042) or at the temporary stop marked by an a-frame at Akins Ave at 66th.

Petco park will host the San Diego Padres vs The Blue Jays in a 3 game series

The game will have a packed crowd and is expected to create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the westbound Route 4 is subject to detouring off Imperial Ave at 20th up to 2 hours before the event and up to 1 hour after the event.

If detour is needed, Westbound Route 4 service stop (#11258) on Imperial @ 16th will be closed.

If detour is needed after the event, Eastbound Route 4 service stop (#10115) will be closed.

All buses will continue to service the 12th and Imperial Transit Station
