Market-Frankford Line is Now the "L" Started Thu Dec 12 2024
The Market-Frankford Line is now the "L" as part of system-wide wayfinding improvements. Expect to see both old and new language used through the transition. Learn more at septa.org/metro.
Somerset Station Elevator Out of Service Started Thu Aug 21
The elevator at the eastbound platform of Somerset Station is out of service until further notice. Riders requiring elevator access can exit at Allegheny Station, transfer to the westbound platform, and board a westbound train to access an elevator at Somerset Station.
Restored Full Service Schedules & Fare Increases Begin Sept. 14 Starts Sun Sep 14 Until Sun Sep 21
Full service will be restored starting on Sunday, September 14 and Monday, September 15, new schedules are available on SEPTA.org. A system-wide fare increase will take effect on September 14.
