All Pakenham and Cranbourne trains will start and finish at Westall. To city Take a replacement bus to Caulfield then change for a Frankston train to the city. From city Take a Frankston train and change at Caulfield.
Buses replace trains on sections of the Sunbury line from 8:30pm Tuesday 7 July to last train Sunday 12 July, while project works take place. From 11pm Friday 10 July to 5am Sunday 12 July: Buses replace trains North Melbourne and Sunbury. Allow extra travel time. Replacement buses are subject to local traffic conditions. Monday 6 July to Monday 13 July To support rail replacement busing, the following car park closures will be in place: Sun Crescent will be closed from 12am Monday 6 July to 2pm Monday 13 July. City Place will be closed from 12am Tuesday 7 July to 2am Monday 13 July. The Station Place car park and accessible parking spaces will remain open during this time.
Monday 11 May to September 2026 To complete underground service relocation works as part of Melbourne Airport Rail Stage 1: West Footscray to Albion Rail Upgrade, 65 car spaces will be closed in the Sun Crescent car park from Monday 11 May to September 2026. Alternative parking is available near Tottenham Station, enter via Rupert Street. Accessible car spaces remain available.
Monday 2 February to late 2026 A new Albion Station will be built as part of Stage 1 of Melbourne Airport Rail and the Sunshine Superhub project. In order to complete major underground service relocation works, Albion Station car park will be closed. Alternative parking will be available at Tottenham Station on Rupert Street. Albion Station, access to platforms and drop off and pick up zones remain open during this time. Accessible car spaces Eight accessible car spaces at Albion Station will remain open. Shared use path closure A section of the shared use path will be closed at the southern end of the car park. Pedestrian and cyclist detours will be in place during this time.
From Wednesday 1 July 2026 As part of Melbourne Airport Rail Stage 1, we’re delivering six kilometres of major rail upgrades from West Footscray to Albion. In order to complete site investigation works, approximately 120 car spaces will be closed in the Tottenham Station temporary carpark. Alternative and accessible car spaces will remain open.
