Due to Construction, Route 855 Northbound will be on detour this Wednesday, January 8, 2026 through Monday, February 23, 2026 for 24 hours a day. There will be five affected stops listed below

2.) Stop(ID #40739)at Calavo Dr. & Ranchwood Dr.
3.) Stop(ID #40434)at Austin Dr. & Calavo Dr.

5.) Stop(ID #40896)at Austin Dr. & Via Orange Way.

Additional Stops:
Effective this Sunday with the January 25th service change, route 12 will no longer service the East Village area between City College Station and 12th & Imperial. Route 12 bus stops on Tenth Ave. and Eleventh Ave. between Broadway and Park Blvd. will be permanently discontinued. The new terminal will be located inside the transit center at 12th & Imperial.
Petco park will host the Savannah Bananas on Saturday, March 21st and Sunday March 22nd from 3pm until 9pm
The packed event is expected to create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the eastbound route 12 is subject to detour up to 1 hour after the event. If this happens, the bus stop at Imperial Av & 16th St #10115 will be missed passengers are advised to make connections with the eastbound route 12 at the 12th & Imperial station during these times.
Due to watermain repairs, the eastbound route 12 stop located at Imperial Av & 16th St (#10115) will be temporarily closed, 02/21/26 between the hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm.
Passengers are advised to catch the eastbound route 12 at 12th & Imperial Trolley Station.
Due to SDGE repairs, the eastbound routes12 & 955 bus stop located at Logan Av & 44th St (#10613), will be temporarily closed Thursday 02/26/26 between the hours of 8:00am - 3:30 pm.
Passengers are advised to catch either route at Logan Av & 45th St (#13441)
Due to paving the route 12 will be on detour in both directions on Logan between 16th St. & Beardsley Tuesday 02/24/26 between the hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm. As a result the following stop will be missed:

#10868 Logan Av & Sigsbee St {12}
#11262 Logan Av & Beardsley St {12}
Passengers are advised to use the stop at the 12th & Imperial transit center. Or for eastbound route 12 at Logan Av. & Beardsley St. #10501 and for westbound at Logan Av. & Cesar Chavez Pkwy #10876
MTS Route 12 may be impacted by the "Hot Chocolate Run" on Sunday, March 8th beginning at 6am. Westbound Route 12 will be detoured off Imperial Ave between 14th and 16th from 6am until 7:45am if traffic causes major delays. No stops will be missed.
