Update 1 - Union Station – Signal Issue Started Until Thu May 21
Our teams are continuing to investigate a signal issue on the Lakeshore East line that may impact travel times to and from Union Station during this afternoon’s commute. To help manage customer flow and support a smoother journey home, platform information will be posted as soon as it becomes available. Please check departure boards before proceeding to your platform. We will provide updates as more information becomes available. Entrance to Scotiabank Galleria closed weeknights Started Mon May 4 Until Thu May 21
The entrance from the Bay Concourse to the Scotiabank Galleria will be closed Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 6:00 due to construction.Please exit via the north pedestrian bridge or the outdoor route through the Bay South Teamway.
Temporary Changes at West Entrance Stair Landing Started Mon May 11 Until Thu May 21
Beginning Wednesday, May 13, 2026 through Monday, June 1, 2026 construction activities will take place at the west entrance stair landing at Pickering GO Station as crews complete wall installation and remote storage improvements. Stair Access Changes During railing removal and re-installation activities, one side of the staircase will be temporarily closed to customers for safety purposes.Customers will be directed to use the opposite side of the staircase. Please follow all posted signage and staff direction while moving through the area.Construction activity and equipment noise may occasionally impact the audibility of station announcements. Customers are encouraged to monitor platform displays and station signage for train information and service updates.
