Connector crews and contractors are responsible for clearing snow at Park & Ride facilities and transit centers. Neither VDOT nor Fairfax County have responsibility for clearing sidewalks and pedestrian pathways adjacent to bus stops. This is typically the responsibility of the adjacent property owner, business or homeowner's association, although there is no specific legal obligation to clear snow and ice from the walkway. Fairfax Connector to Operate a normal service schedule; Snow Detours Still in Effect for Some Routes. The following routes will begin operating with snow detours until road conditions improve: 151,152,161,162, and 703. Service decisions are subject to change as road conditions require. During severe weather, limited service or other severe service disruptions, real-time arrival predictions may not be accurate. Riders are reminded that during inclement weather, route-by-route estimated arrival information in BusTracker may not be accurate. If your route is on detour, the information presented in BusTracker will not reflect real-time estimated arrival information but rather the schedule information.
