Starting Friday, November 1 at 9 p.m. through Wednesday, April 30 at 5 p.m., the 4 Street S.W./Mission Bridge over Elbow River will be fully closed for Bridge Rehabilitation Work. Route 449 will be detoured.


Southbound route 449 will travel:



  • South on 4 Street S.W.

  • East on 25 Avenue S.W.

  • South on Macleod Trail S

  • East on 39 Avenue S.E.

  • West on 42 Avenue S.E.

  • North on Macleod Trail S

  • West on Mission Road S.W.

  • West on 30 Avenue S.W.

  • South on 4 Street S.W., change to northbound routing


Northbound route 449 will travel:



  • South on 4 Street S.W.

  • East on 34 Avenue S.W.

  • South on Mission Road S.W.

  • South on Macleod Trail S

  • East on 39 Avenue S.E.

  • West on 42 Avenue S.E.

  • North on Macleod Trail S

  • West on 25 Avenue S.W.

  • North on 4 Street S.W., return to regular routing
