The packed game is expected to create heavy traffic resulting in MTS service delays. If the delays become excessive, the eastbound route 12 is subject to detour up to 1 hour after the event. If this happens, the bus stop at Imperial Av & 16th St #10115 will be missed passengers are advised to make connections with the eastbound route 12 at the 12th & Imperial station during these times.

On Saturday July 18th from 5am until approximately 4pm, the annual San Diego Pride Parade & 5K will be taking place in the Hillcrest community. As of now, there are no planned detours for Routes 7 & 215, but, significant delays are expected due to heavy traffic along Park Blvd, so please plan accordingly. In the event that heavy traffic becomes a safety concern for our buses, we may have to detour Routes 7 & 215 away from the area of Park & University. Please check back for any updates.

On Saturday July 18th from 5am until approximately 4pm, Route 10 will be detoured off of University Ave as a result of the annual Pride Parade & 5K in the Hillcrest community. Bus stops on University between 1st Ave and Park Blvd in both directions will be temporarily discontinued.

During the course of the road closures, customers are advised to connect with service at the following bus stop locations:

* E/B Rte 10 at the temporary stop located on Washington @ 4th (Rte 3 Bus Stop), temporary A-Frame stop on Washington @ Lincoln,
El Cajon Blvd @ Park (Rte 1 Bus stop) or University @ Louisiana (Rte 7 Bus Stop).
(For E/B Rte 10 closure on University at Park, customers are advised to take N/B Rte 7
on Park @ University which stops at all Route 10 bus stops)
* W/B Rte 10 on University @ Louisiana, A-Frame stop on (westbound) Washington @ Cleveland, or Washington @ 5th.

Due to construction, the eastbound routes 1,10 & 11 bus stop located at University Av & Vermont St (#10111), will be temporarily closed 7/14/26 - 7/16/26 between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm daily.

Rt 4 Detour Encanto Block Party and Music Festival Sun 7/12 12am-10pm Starts Sun Jul 12 Until Sun Jul 12
Due to the Encanto Block Party and Music Festival on Sunday 7/12 from 12:00am-10:00pm Imperial Ave will be closed between Woodman St and 68th St. As a result; the route 4 will be on detour in both directions and the eastbound route 4 stops on Imperial Ave at 65th St (#10686), Imperial Ave at Woodman St (#10286), Imperial Ave at 68th St (#10291), Imperial Ave at 69th St (#10292) and the westbound route 4 stops on Imperial Ave at 69th St (#11054), Imperial Ave at 66th (#11429) and Imperial Ave at 65th (#11047) will be closed during event hours.

Passengers can board the route 4 in the eastbound direction at Imperial Ave at 63rd St (#10276), Lisbon St at 71st St (#10698) or at the temporary stop marked by an a-frame on at Akins Ave at 66th and the route 4 in the westbound direction at Lisbon St at Imperial Ave (#11056), Imperial Ave at 63rd St (#11042) or at the temporary stop marked by an a-frame at Akins Ave at 66th.

S/B 20 Carmel Mountain Rd at Highland Ranch Rd Stop Closure 6am-3:30pm Starts Thu Jul 16 Until Thu Jul 16
Due to SDG&E work the southbound route 20 bus stop on Carmel Mountain Rd at Highland Ranch Rd (#13444) will be closed on Thursday 7/16 from 6am-3:30pm. Passengers are advised to board the southbound route 20 one block south at Carmel Mountain Rd at Stoney Peak Dr (#13445).

If detour is needed, Westbound Route 4 service stop (#11258) on Imperial @ 16th will be closed.

If detour is needed after the event, Eastbound Route 4 service stop (#10115) will be closed.

All buses will continue to service the 12th and Imperial Transit Station
