Passenger Service Alert-Effective September 30, 2025 Started Wed Aug 27 Until Wed Oct 1
Effective September 30, 2025, MTA Commuter Bus will no longer serve or provide parking at the Chesapeake Church Park and Ride. Passengers commuting on the 830 and 840 are encouraged to use one of the following alternate locations:

Prince Frederick Park and Ride
130 Fairground Road, Prince Frederick, Maryland, 20678

Sunderland Park and Ride (First Stop for 830)
6470 Solomons Island Road N., Sunderland, Maryland, 20689

Dunkirk Park and Ride
10839 Town Center Boulevard, Dunkirk, Maryland 20754

Commuter Bus Service Alert for Car-Free Day Started Until Mon Sep 22
On Monday, September 22, in recognition of World Car-Free Day, ride FREE on Local Bus, Light Rail, Metro Subway, MARC, Commuter Bus, and Mobility. Make the most of Car-Free Day by taking transit to work or school in the morning and then home or to the Ravens vs. Lions game at night. We thank you for riding with MDOT MTA.
