Starting Monday, July 14 at 9 a.m. through Wednesday, December 31 to the end of service, the right-hand lane on 6 Avenue S.W. between 1 Street S.W. and Centre Street S. will be closed for Suncor Energy Centre construction. Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 17, 70 and 101 will have stop closures.


The following stops will be temporarily closed:



  • WB 6 AV S.W. @ 1 ST S.W. (#5115) - Routes 2 & 4

  • WB 6 AV S.W. @ E. of 1 ST S.W. (#6334) - Routes 1, 3, 17 & 101

  • WB 6 AV S.W. @ E. of 1 ST S.W. (#6323) - Route 70


Please use the following stops in lieu of the closed stops:



  • WB 6 AV S.W. @ 2 ST S.W. (#5178) - Routes 1 & 3

  • WB 6 AV @ 1 ST S.E. (#2234) - Route 1

  • WB 6 AV S.E. @ 1 ST S.E. (#7466) - Routes 4 & 101

  • SB Centre ST S @ 4 AV S. (#6669) - Routes 2, 3 & 17

  • WB 6 AV S.W. @ 2 ST S.W. (#5118, temporary stop, nearside) - Routes 2, 4, 17 & 101

  • WB 6 AV S.W. @ 70m W. of 1 ST S.W. (temporary stop) - Route 70
