Red Line: Shuttle service is extended to JFK/UMass due to a signal problem at North Quincy. Shuttle buses will operate between North Quincy & Braintree through November 23, for maintenance work. Started Sat Nov 15 Until Mon Nov 24
Commuter Rail Alternatives:
Commuter Rail service between Braintree and South Station will be fare-free.

Travel Time:
Riders using shuttle bus service should budget extra travel time. For example, a rider traveling to Park Street from Braintree should allow for at least 35 minutes of travel in addition to their regular commute.

Commuter Rail Fare-Free Alternatives:
Riders are strongly encouraged to use the Fall River/New Bedford, Kingston, and Greenbush Commuter Rail lines for fare-free service between Braintree, Quincy Center, JFK/UMass, and South Station. Commuter Rail schedules are available at mbta.com/CR. Regular Commuter Rail fares will be collected for travel beyond Braintree.

Weekend outbound service from South Station to JFK/UMass will be provided on November 15 - 16 and 22 - 23.
