Due to Construction, Route 855 Northbound will be on detour this Wednesday, January 8, 2026 through Monday, February 23, 2026 for 24 hours a day. There will be five affected stops listed below

Rt 1 Detour Hillcrest Farmers Market Every Sun Started Sun Jan 26 2025 Until Sun Dec 27 2026
Due to the Hillcrest Farmers Market University Avenue will be closed in both directions from Herbert St to Park Bl every Sunday from 5:00am-5:30pm starting on 1/26 to 12/28. As a result, the route 1 will be on detour and the eastbound route 1 stop on University Ave at Herbert St (#10494) and the westbound route 1 stops on University Ave at Normal St (#10865) and University Ave at Richmond St (#10862) will be closed. Passengers are advised to board the eastbound route 1on University Ave at Richmond St (#10114) or at Park Bl at University Ave (#12804) and the westbound route 1 on Park Bl at University Ave (#11675) or University Ave at Vermont St (#11254).

Due to construction, the route 1 towards Fashion Valley Station bus stop closure on 2/7 to 3/7 (Saturdays only), between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Passengers are advised to make connections at El Cajon Bl & 52nd St (#11013) and/or El Cajon Bl & Winona Av (#11377).

Due to construction, the routes 1,10 & 11 bus stop located at westbound University Av & Vermont St (#11254), will be closed 10/22/25 - 03/31/26 (24/7).
