Commuter Rail Alternatives From the South:
Riders can use the Franklin/Foxboro, Needham, or Providence/Stoughton Lines for fare-free travel between Forest Hills, Ruggles, Back Bay and South Station. Regular fares will apply to travel beyond Forest Hills.

Commuter Rail Alternatives From the North:
Riders can use the Haverhill Line for fare-free travel between Oak Grove, Malden Center, and North Station. Regular fares will apply to travel beyond Oak Grove.

Jackson Square: The stairway connecting the Jackson Sq lobby and the south end of the platform is closed until winter 2026. Use the stairway at the north end of the platform. This closure is for the construction of a new stairway and a second elevator. Started Mon Jun 30 3:00AM
